NYS Supreme Court Filing Fees
The following fees are court mandated and apply to anyone getting a New York divorce. In some situations, the court may waive the New York divorce filing fees if you submit what is known as a "Poor Person Affidavit." This affidavit states that the person filing for divorce cannot afford the filing fees and requests that the court waive the fees.
